Twitter reportedly suspends Marjorie Taylor Greene’s account for spreading COVID-19 misinformation

Twitter has reportedly suspended Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s personal account for spreading COVID-19 misinformation. 

“We permanently suspended Marjorie Taylor Greene for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy,” Twitter said in a statement, according to CNN reporter Donie O’Sullivan. “We’ve been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy.”

The official representative account of Greene, a freshman from Georgia, remains active on Twitter.
