You can your language settings on Disney Plus in a few different ways.

- You can change the language on Disney Plus within a show or movie, or for your entire profile.
- You can also change the Disney Plus language by adjusting the settings on your TV.
- Not every Disney Plus movie or TV show will offer the full range of languages available.
Disney Plus offers a growing number of languages and subtitles to customize your viewing experience to your liking.
While these audio options can differ depending on the content you’re watching or where you’re located, you are generally able to change the language in a few different ways.
Here’s how to adjust your language preferences on Disney Plus.
What languages are offered on Disney Plus?
You can view legacy Disney content in four languages — English, Spanish, French, and Dutch — with more language options for Disney Plus originals, including the following:

3. English (UK and US)
4. Finnish
5. French (Canada and France)
6. German
7. Italian
8. Japanese
9. Korean
10. Norwegian
11. Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal)
12. Spanish (Latin America and Spain)

15. Chinese (Traditional)
16. Chinese (Hong Kong)

How to change the language on Disney Plus within the show or movie settings
1. Open the Disney Plus app or navigate to the website on your browser.
2. Tap or click the movie or show you would like to watch.
3. Once your selection is playing, pause it before tapping or clicking the Settings icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

4. A window with two columns will open. In the first column,you’ll find audio options. Select the language you desire.

5. In the second column to the right, select your subtitles. If you don’t plan on using subtitles, select Off.
6. Close the window by tapping or clicking the X or back arrow icon once you’ve made your choices.
Quick tip: The steps above will only change for the specific profile, so if you have multiple profiles, you’d need to repeat the process to update their language settings using this method.
How to change the language on Disney Plus in the profile settings
This method is the same, whether you’re using the mobile app or the desktop version of Disney Plus:
1. Open the Disney Plus app or navigate to the website on your browser.
2. Click the My Profile tab in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Select Edit Profiles.

4. Click the pencil icon of the profile you’d like to change.

5. Select the dropdown for App Language.

6. Choose your desired language.

7. Tap or click the blue Save button at the bottom of the screen.
How to change the language on Disney Plus through your device settings
You can also change the Disney Plus language via your Roku TV, Apple TV, or Fire TV.
On Roku TV
1. Start watching a show or movie on Disney Plus on your Roku device.
2. Press the Star button on your Roku remote.
3. Choose your language from the menu on the left hand side of the screen.
Quick tip: You can also change the language settings on your Roku device, if you want your language preferences to extend beyond the Disney Plus app.
On Apple TV
1. From your Apple TV, open the Disney Plus app and choose a title to watch.
2. Swipe down on your Apple TV remote.
3. Choose Audio, located at the top of the screen.
4. Choose your desired language.
On Fire TV
1. On your Fire TV, go to Settings.
2. Choose Preferences.
3. Select your desired language.
